It's probably not quite as dramatic as I made it out to be. I should give it another listen myself to see if I didn't read too much into Kornfield's comments. Recent discussions on the mailing list, combined with having listened to quite a lot of karma style programs recently has got me thinking about the role of seemingly harmless religions (like secular Buddhism) in the world. My commentary is really more of a summary of one side of an argument with myself than it is a genuine statement of belief. 128.32.117.40
